The Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre,

in association with the Pierides Foundation

and the Pharos Trust

 
Present the exhibition Pharos = Ten

 

Exhibition Opening: 15 October 2008, 8.00pm, Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (Old Powerhouse)

 

 

Coinciding with the ten-year anniversary of the Pharos Trust, Pharos = 10 will showcase the Trust’s significant contribution to culture and contemporary art in particular. The exhibition will take place at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre, from 15 October to 9 November 2008, and will encompass art-works and installations by a great number of international artists who had previously exhibited at the Pharos Centre for Contemporary Art.

 

Aiming to draw attention to the Pharos Trust’s activities, the Municipal Arts Centre will also house several events organized by the Trust, such as concerts and recitals by renowned Cypriot and international musicians, lectures by important scholars, dance workshops and master-classes.

 

The first joint effort between the Arts Centre and the Pharos Trust, Pharos = 10 is intended to lay the basis for a future cultural collaboration between the two institutions.
