Laura Davis lives and works in Buenos Aires. She is a graduate of the National School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires. Her works have been exhibited widely in Argentina and abroad including exhibitions at RVS Fine Art, Southampton, New York, 2007; In tansit (quiero retruco), Recoleta Cultural Centre, Buenos Aires, 2000; Table event - Memory Dishes, Southville Centre, UK, 2001; and Painting / Painting, Palacio de las Artes, Fundación Mecenas, Buenos Aires, 1999. Although painting and drawing are her chosen media to communicate her ideas, her curiosity, interest, anxiety, drive, and impulsive nature, move her to experiment with many different languages and ways to develop her creative activity, not necessarily limited to the strictly artistic fields.
