Haris Epaminonda (Cypriot)

Born in 1980 in Nicosia, Cyprus. Haris Epaminonda now lives and works in Berlin. She graduated in 2003 from the Royal College of Art in London. Haris Epaminonda has gained an impressive international reputation over the last several years. Her latest shows include: She doesn’t think so but she is dressed for the H-bomb, Tate Modern, 2008; VIDEOMINUTO_08, Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art, Prato, Italy, 2008; 5th Berlin Biennale, The Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin, 2008; Artprojx Hi-Fi presents image & sound, Tate Britain, London, 2008; New Work UK: you & me, Whitechapel Gallery in association with LUX, London, 2008; I am future melancholic tank TV, Tate Modern, London, 2007. Next year she will be part of the Sound and Visions exhibition at the Tel Aviv Contemporary Art Museum.
