Astrid Fitzgerald (American/Swiss)

Born in 1938 in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Astrid Fitzgerald has been living and working in the USA since 1961. She studied in New York, graduating in 1963 from the Art Students League and in 1973 from the Pratt Graphics Arts Centre. Astrid Fitzgerald has held numerous solo shows in New York and Switzerland. Her work has been exhibited on an international level: CAF.N Contemporary Art Festival, Nebula, Japan, 2005; The Sharjah Arts Museum, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, 2000; Credit Suisse, New York City, 1990.
